Orthodontics is the specialty of dentistry responsible for the diagnosis, prevention and treatment of dental malpositions. Not having rows of teeth is not only an aesthetic problem, but can also cause functional and chewing problems. Similarly, crooked teeth make it difficult to access proper hygiene and therefore increase the risk of cavities and/or gum disease.

Fixed orthodontic treatment with traditional Metal Brackets
Traditional brackets are a traditional solution for patients who want to align their teeth without resorting to more expensive orthodontic systems. It is a type of orthodontics that corrects the positions of the teeth by means of fixed brackets attached to the outer surface of the teeth. It is the most suitable treatment for children and teenagers, as well as for adults who are not afraid to apply traditional metal brackets.

Orthodontic treatments with clear aligners
It is a bracketless, invisible orthodontic treatment method in which transparent plastic plaques that are custom made and designed are used. Transparent plaque treatment is a treatment method that our patients can easily use, can be attached and removed and practically invisible, thus allowing the patient to change their smile without affecting their daily life. We have professionals in our clinic who allow us to predict the results with a virtual treatment plan so that the patient can see what their teeth will look like when their treatment is finished. The clear aligner systems we apply are Orthero, ClearCorrect and Invisalign clear aligner systems.

Orthodontic treatments for children
Although the growth of teeth seems normal, we recommend that our pediatric patients first visit the clinic from the age of 6 years. In this way, the position of the teeth, the relationship between them and the development of the upper jaw bones can be evaluated at an early age. If there is any abnormality in this area in our pediatric patients, it is easier to correct before completing the growth stage.
